Jamie Colby

Colby, National News Anchor and correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Prior to becoming a part of FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and was anchor and reporter at CBS News including fill-in anchor on CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is licensed as an attorney for New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. She received awards such as the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for coverage of the September 11 attacks. 11, the Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000 and Clarion Award for Women in Communications. In addition, she was named TV Week's "Rising News Star To Keep an Eye On". Colby is an attorney and, along with her professional career as a journalist, also worked for 10 years in private practice. Colby's law firm began when a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she began working with Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and the divorce.
