The family was raised and born in Pennsylvania Molly started her professional career when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia the Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. Then she was nominated as an Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. She portrayed the same role as Into the Woods in Broadway aged fifteen and was awarded a Drama League Award nomination. Molly also performed on the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004.
